An exceptional and limited Ulysse Nardin Freak with the reference 020-88 in 18k white gold. The Freak is very special in many ways for example the hand-wound caliber UN-200 is not wound via a crown, but by turning the outer case back. The time is set via the bezel, the movable bridge rotates around the central axis and also serves as the minute indicator. The escapement and gear train are driven along with it. This design forms part of what is known as the Carrousel tourbillon. The Freak was designed by master watchmaker Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, who has developed many masterpieces for Ulysse Nardin. The dial features a stunning dark blue color, lending the watch a magnificent appearance, complemented by the unique construction of the movement. The watch is fitted with the original Ulysse Nardin leather strap with the original UN double folding clasp in 18k white gold. This Freak is in good and worn condition and has a diameter of 44.5 mm.
