Beautiful Rolex Cosmograph Daytona reference 116508 with the so-called John Mayer green dial in 18k yellow gold. The watch is on the SEL Oyster Bracelet and naturally has the bezel with engraved numerals and tachymeter scales. But why does the dial have the name of a singer on it? Mayer is an avowed fan of Rolex watches and speaks openly about his long-standing love of the brand. His fondness for Rolex was reciprocated with a special 18-carat yellow gold Rolex Daytona with a bright green dial, also known as the "John Mayer" Daytona. This happened after Mayer labelled it a "sleeper hit", his praise helping to boost the watch's popularity.
