Patek Philippe 3604 very rare Ellipse D'Or TV Screen blue dial Whitegold

Very rare Patek Philippe Jumbo Ellipse D'Or Date TV Screen with the reference 3604/1 in 18k white gold, produced in 1973. The watch is on the original PP gold bracelet with jewellery clasp in 18k white gold, the mounted gold bracelet is by far the nicer bracelet compared to the thinner gold bracelet, especially from the visual appearance and the wearing comfort. This Ellipse is powered by the Patek automatic calibre 28-255C, the same movement used in the legendary Nautilus 3700 and its oval brother, the Jumbo Ellipse 3605. The case number is: 2736xxx and the movement number: 1301xxx. This model is part of the so-called ‘Golden circle’ collection and has been nicknamed ‘Television’ by collectors. This reference was produced from 1971 to 1980, in very small numbers, especially the white gold version with this solid bracelet. The diameter of the watch is 36 mm, the bracelet has a total length (with watch) of approx. 18.5 cm and the total weight is approx. 136.5 grams. The radiant blue dial with sunburst decoration has a radiance like no other dial, especially in the sun (see photos). This wonderful Patek Philippe is in very good condition and comes with the Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives (sold on 29 July 1974). It is extremely difficult to find a Patek Philippe 3604 in this configuration (white gold, blue dial and thick, braided gold bracelet); in its present condition, this watch is an absolute collector's rarity for Patek Philippe and Ellipse enthusiasts.
