Rare Vintage Omega De Ville from the "Time in Style" collection, with the reference 8270 in 18k white gold, designed by the legendary Andrew Grima. In 1969 Omega commissioned Andrew Grima, the iconic British jewellery designer, who produced extraordinary watch designs. For Grima himself the focus was less on telling the time and more on creating sculptural pieces of jewellery designed to inspire! Omega took up these design ideas in the ‘Time in Style’ collection and launched a mass-produced range, which includes this De Ville. The watch is powered by the Omega hand-wound calibre 620, which offers very good timekeeping performance. The original white gold bracelet is beautifully crafted, featuring a white gold jewellery clasp complete with a security chain – the watch fits a wrist circumference of up to 18.5 cm. This De Ville measures 20 x 37 mm and has an impressive total weight of 117 grams. It is in very good condition and has never been polished, as can be seen from the deep gold hallmark on the side of the case. In summary this Omega is a unique piece of jewellery that not only tells the time but also embodies exceptional aesthetics. For any passionate watch collector looking for something special for their collection, this watch is an excellent choice. This item is directly available. The sale of this Watch is subject to differential-taxation according to §25A UStG (Value Added Tax Act).
