Very rare vintage Piaget Polo ‘deux ors’ with the reference 791 C 701 in 18k yellow gold & 18k white gold. This reference is one of the first three references of the Piaget Polo series, the reference 791 is the middle size with a round case. This reference is very rare to find, with a diameter of 30 mm is a perfect unisex version of the Vintage Polo. This Polo is powered by the Piaget Quartz Calibre 7P3, which at the time held the world record as the thinnest quartz calibre in the world. The total weight of the watch is 124.8 grams and the total length of the bracelet measures 19 cm. This Polo has probably never been polished, as can be seen from the gold hallmark on the case back. The ‘two-tone’ or ‘bicolour’ version of the vintage Polo on offer is extremely rare, of the approximately 4,000 to 6,000 examples of the round and square Polo there are unfortunately not nearly as many to be found in the world today and only around 20% of the Polos were originally produced in two-tone gold.
