Audemars Piguet Vintage ROYAL OAK Jumbo | 5402 ST | A Series 1973 | Full Set from first Owner |

NUS1493

Very rare AUDEMARS PIGUET Royal Oak "Jumbo" A Serie No. A6xx - from 24. April 1973 | Reference 5402 ST | Automatic Caliber 2121 - Serial No. 141xxx | Gay Freres / Brevet Bracelet & folding clasp 1/72 - original Slip on the Clasp (Audemars Piguet written out) | Dial 1st Series with AP Logo above 6 o'clock | original narrow Hands | the Watch is in an unpolished original Condition | enclosed original A.P. Leather Box with outer Carton - A.P. Extrait de Registre / Extract from the Archives dated April 12, 2022 - extra Link - original A.P. Warranty Booklet with all three Carbon Pages (since the Watch was privately owned by the Jeweler, he obviously did not bother to fill out the Papers, these were delivered to him blanco by AP Germany / Bad Soden at the Time when the Jeweler bought the watch in 1973) - additional A.P. Certificate of Authenticity (in French, also blanco) and the original Envelope for both Documents supplied - the very rare original A.P. Sales Tag with inscribed Reference Number / Case Number / Serial Number. This Royal Oak is historically authentic and original in all Parts - the Watch has never been refurbished or polished - there is also an interesting Provenance behind the Watch, it came into the possession of a renowned Jeweler from Stuttgart / Germany directly from AP Bad Soden in 1973 as a personal Watch acquired, the Jeweler closed his Shop around 1996 after more than 50 Years of Business. Despite unknown Service History, the Movement still runs relatively well with an Amplitude of up to 250 Degrees and -3 to -10 Seconds a Day depending on the Position on the timing Machine. A Service at AP in Le Brassus could of course be carried out, but there is currently a long waiting List for a Reference 5402 to be revised. This Royal Oak would look like new with a thorough Refurbishment by A.P. performed at Le Brassus, we personally would leave them unpolished as that is an important Fact for a discerning Collector or Investor. More Information and Photos on request. This item is directly available. The sale of this Watch is subject to differential-taxation according to §25A UStG (Value Added Tax Act).
