Used Audemars Piguet watches

In 1875 Jules-Louis Audemars started building his own watches in Le Brassus (Switzerland). But the current name "Audermars Piguet" suggests that two stakeholders lent their names to the company. Absolutely right! Audemars occasionally got supported by his childhood friend Edward-Auguste Piguet. Both were repasseurs so they had experience in checking and approving high-grade watches.

In December 1881 they decided to found their jointly managed company called "Audemars Piguet & Cie."
